Look for Sambazon Acai juice at Whole Foods, its extremely delicious and its more potent than Pomegranate juice. The pills will help, but the juice is definitely a better way to get the most of the power that the acai berry has. The acai berry has a very short life span after harvest and it grows in the rain forest so this explains why you cannot simply buy raw acai berries at a store (at least i have never seen them, and i do keep an eye out for them.)

most pills are going to be very low quality..many fillers and additives. It is best to get a good quality juice. Or buy acai in pure freeze dried form.
How well does this work?? Not sure what you mean by that.
I have been drinking acai for about 3 years. It is a good source of nutrition like any kind of deep colored berry.
