I’m sorry this is happening to you.
Don’t ever diet again. Eat healthy foods and drink much water. (I think this is a hard lesson for you to learn to never diet again.) Don’t eat any supplements other than your doctor gives you.
Don’t brush your hair and don’t wash it too much. Don’t us chemical products in your hair. And don’t wear anything in your hair. All those things can increase damaging your hair.
Listen to your doctors. And hang on. Your hair will grow back again eventelly.

WOW, I am sorry to hear that. I am taking levothyroxine which is a substitute for synthroid for over a year now. Before I took PTU, which is the short term for a word I can’t spell, but I took that for several years when my thyroid was on the overactive side (hyper). But never has my hair been coming out, in fact, it has been quite the opposite. But I do have to keep my hair extra moisturized because it get very brittle very quickly. And is growing normally. Now my sister has taken synthroid, and like me started off having hyperthyroidism. They have changed her script several times but is still taken something for her thyroid but her hair is completely gone, with only a few strands trying to return. It is heartbreaking to see. And like you, she has gone to several dermatologists for help.NOTHING! Oh yeah, she lost her eyelashes as well. My thought is that the doctors don’t know what to tell you. Because like me, it is not affecting me the same way. Stay on them for an answer. Do what you can to eat better and do away with stress (if any) for starters, so they won’t be able to use that as the reason why.

i deal with hair loss and baldness by using topical anti-androgens and also minoxidil lotion. somehow it helps slow down hair loss.
