no they can not disapear on their own u need a dewormer for that. if u leave them untreated they will do a lot of damage. they get them from eating mice or being around other cats with tapes. the only meds that can get rid of them are called drontal or profender. you can only purchase it from a vets. you will not find anything over the counter for them. u can call ur vets and see if they will dispense them without seeing ur cats.

No worms can’t just disappear without treatment, but don’t waste your money buying medication for your cats anywhere but at the vets as it won’t work. All you need to do is go there with your cats weights and they will sort you out with medication that gets rid of all kind of worms. The latest treatment is a just a drop on the back of the neck, our vet recommends it should be done 3 times a year.

No, they don’t disappear without treatment. If money is tight for the vet, call your vet and ask if you can get treatments for them without bringing them in. Most vets understand the crunch that many people are in and will be willing to work with you. My vet charges about $5 a treatment, and I’m sure yours will be similar. One treatment usually does it with tapeworms if it’s the prescription wormer. It’s best to also treat them for fleas, as tapeworms are caused when they ingest fleas. Your vet can give you the flea treatment as well, and the cost is relatively low considering the benefit. Please don’t use over the counter flea remedies as they’re notoriously toxic to cats. Hartz and Sergeant’s are the worst and should be avoided at all costs.

if you go to the pet shop you can buy tablets that kill tapeworm for less than £5 so there is no need to go to the vets and end up paying an extra £15 just for the to tell you the same thing.

Why the hell do you have pets if you’re too cheap to bring them to the vet when they’re sick?? For ***** sake. Give your cats to somebody who will look after them properly
